primal SA protoboard

Hexapod Primal protoboards are designed for direct surface mount prototyping. The Primal SA pads have a pitch of 50 x 50 mil (1.27 x 1.27 mm), which works well for components using SOIC, SOT-32, TO-252, 0603 and 1206 footprints.

Primal SA boards have a checkered ground plane on the underside of the board. The round pads on the top side connect through the boards to the underside where they can be selectively attached to the ground plane with a small blob of solder. Primal SA boards are good for RF and other higher frequency circuits like buck/boost power converters running at a high switching rate.
